Corum: Palais des Congrès - Opéra Berlioz

The Palais Corum is the convention centre of the city of Montpellier. Criticized during its construction for its architecture and its cost, it hosts since its opening the Opéra Berlioz, one of the most emblematic places of the city.

The long building was conceived and designed by the architect Claude Vasconi, and it is distinguished by the use of plates of pink granite from Finland.

Considered one of the top of the Palais des Congrès de France, the Corum is also renowned for its acoustic qualities and National Opera Orchestra.

Corum unites two worlds in one place: the reception of professional events from 50 to 2,000 people and classic or contemporary concerts.

With its pioneering design, this multi scenic upscale site offers a lot of cultural richness which make Montpellier one of the most popular destinations in the area of business tourism in the Mediterranean.

Situated 10min walk from the train station, the Congress Centre can host 2000 people in one of its three auditoriums, it has an exhibition surface of 6000 sqm, 25 committee rooms and offices.

Moreover this incredible space, the place can offer a dinner area for up to 1000 people seated.
