Boat Tour
Activities in Brussels

Boat Tour

While Brussels doesn’t have the famous canals of Bruges or Ghent, it does offer unique boat tours along its waterways, specifically on the Brussels-Charleroi Canal and the Senne river. These tours provide a different perspective of the city, focusing on its industrial heritage, urban development, and the surrounding green areas.

Unlike the medieval charm of canal tours in other Belgian cities, boat trips in Brussels often highlight the city’s transformation from an industrial port to a modern urban landscape. You’ll see old warehouses, revitalized quays, and contemporary architecture along the waterfront.

We offer a range of guided boat trips tailored for groups. These can be combined with other activities, such as a guided walk through a historical area like the old harbor or a visit to nearby attractions like the Train World museum or the Thurn & Taxis site.

The tourist sailing season for these boat tours generally runs from May to October, with some companies offering private rentals year-round.

For private corporate groups, we can rent a ship all year through for any occasion: for a tourist excursion, a corporate event, a meeting or a teambuilding on the water. Either sailing or boarded, for 30 up to 300 guests. Ship rental is possible all year round, depending on the availability of the boats.
