sites which should not be missed. Stroll through the streets of Reims, by day or by night: many sites, monuments and museums show the history of Reims, from the Gallo-Roman to the modern era, going through the Art Deco period.
No matter what you have read, nothing can prepare you for that first skyward glimpse of Reims’ gargantuan Gothic cathedral.
Rising golden and imperious above the city, one of Europe’s most important Gothic structures, the cathedral is where, over the course of a millennium (816 to 1825), some 34 sovereigns – among them two dozen kings – began their reigns.
Saint-Remi Basilica – one of the most important Romanesque realizations in the North of France, built in the 11th century in order to house the holy ampulla and the relics of Saint Remi
Adjoining the Basilica, the museum is situated in a former 17th and 18th century Benedictine abbey listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around the cloisters, different rooms are devoted to history, from prehistory to the Renaissance, to Gallo-Roman archaeology, to 16th century tapestries and to regional military history since the Gallic Wars.

Reims: A treasure hunt in the heart of the Sacred City. In Reims, one of the most famous cities in the Champagne region, participants set off to discover historic monuments, tourist streets and hidden treasures. Equipped with a geolocated tablet and maps, players will have to unravel the secrets of the city of Reims, deciphering the riddles and advancing strategically with their teams.
Among the must-see places in the city of Reims that you’ll explore are :
Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, a Gothic jewel and the place where the kings of France were crowned
The Place Royale and its well-kept secrets
The Boulingrin district, famous for its covered market and its architecture
And also: the cryptoportico, the Porte de Mars, the winged statue on Place d’Erlon, the theatre, the cinema-opera, the Musée des Beauts-Arts…

A sensory and local trail
During the walk, each stop will enable the group to find out a little more about the heritage that the city of Reims has to offer.
There will be 6 stops in shops along the way, where players will have to use their sense of taste, smell, hearing, touch and sight. The shopkeepers involved will also give explanations to the different teams. In this entirely cooperative formula, all the participants will go home with surprises and lots of memories.

Discovery of the famous vineyards and villages of the Marne Valley in the historic Coteaux de la Champagne near Epernay: Mareuil sur Aÿ and Hautvillers.

- Guided tour of the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, known as “the most expensive avenue in the world”.
- In the famous village of Hautvillers, known as ‘the cradle of Champagne’, we’ll also thank Dom Pérignon at his tomb during a guided tour of the church where he served as a monk for decades. We’ll tell you his story and that of Champagne, and you’ll finally find out whether or not he was the inventor of Champagne.
- -Complete visit to a winegrower/Champagne producer’s family, including a visit to the cellar and lunch at the winegrower’s including starter, main course, Champagne dessert, wine, coffee and water (several groups would be required and not everyone would eat in the same room).
